Join the Board of Directors
ROW is looking for new partners that can share their expertise in areas such as fund development, financial planning and public relations to serve on the Board.
- Out meetings are monthly. All meetings begin at 5:30 and end at 7:00 pm. We expect our board members to attend a minimum of 80% of all board meetings. Committee meetings are separate and our outlined below.
- We have a financial expectation of our board members to commit to making a meaningful contribution in accordance with each individual board members ability to pay. A suggested contribution level is $25 - $50 per month, although this decision is confidential, and is left to the decision of each board member. Each board member will be asked to pledge their financial contribution to the Executive Director through an annual board commitment letter. In addition, for each agency sponsored fundraising event, board members are expected to participate through volunteering time, as well as soliciting donations.

All board members are asked to serve on at least one committee each year. These include the following:
Program / Planning
The program planning committee develops, reviews, and monitors the agency's mission
statement. The committee also conducts strategic planning issues and is involved in looking critically at all of our programs and services
Finance
The finance committee analyzes, develops, and oversees fiscal policy, budgets, investment strategies, audit, and reporting systems. In consultation with the Executive Director, this committee makes recommendations regarding overall budget.
Development
The development committee analyzes, develops, and implements agency's fundraising activities. In consultation with the Executive Director, this committee develops short and long-range fundraising plans
